Hey Lady!!! Read your amazing book, cover to cover when I got home and have been trying since then to find a way to express my multitude of emotions. First I want to tell you how brave I think you are to be willing to share your journey. My heart aches for the child you were and the adult that you became as a result of the abuse you suffered. I cannot imagine the strength it took for you to survive the pain you must have felt. I remain in awe of your faith and the courage it must have taken to let go of your pain and anger. The testimony this book provides must surely be a blessing to everyone who has the privilege to read it. Thank you for sharing it with me.

4 glasses of wine (red or white)
2 loaves garlic bread
1 family size supreme pizza
3 Snickers Bars
Late Night Snack
1 whole Sarah Lee cheesecake (eaten directly from the freezer)
Remember: Stressed spelled backward is desserts.

Now be honest. Haven’t we all made bad decisions like this at one time or another? The only remedy is to start making the right ones…..
God does forgive our mistakes and loves us anyway, enen though we still have to deal with the fallout.

Example- “So you didn’t study for your finals and you failed? I love you. My love is not conditional to your graduating. However you will now need to find a job and start paying rent.”

A calorie is the bed bug of the weight loss world. It crawls into your closet at night and sews all your clothes two sizes smaller than your hips.
It eats the good stuff on your plate so that you are left with only the fat-filled bits that swell your upper arms into sausage rolls.
It jumps up and down on your stomach during TV shows so that you have to trampoline to the cupboard for potato chips.
It ties knots in your exercise shoes so that you can’t get your shoes on and go to the gym.
It chews up the bills in your purse so that you can’t afford to buy lettuce and instead can afford only chocolate chip cookies.
It steers your car into places like Dairy Queen and then demands second helpings.
It stirs up words in my mouth so that I can tell my weight-loss leader that I ate everything exactly right and that her scales are wrong.
I am calling my calorie Henry.
If I called it Brenda, I would have to take all the blame for my advanced weight and that is just not fair!

Roger Troy Wilson ( Thomas Nelson) lost a lot of weight following this diet. True testimonials in the book allow that others have too.
The book is well written and easy to read. The recipes sound yummy. It will help some to lose weight because they need to believe that their bodies are different.
Bet here are the facts. We lose weight when we put less food in and more exercise out. If we take in 1500 calories and burn off 1500 calories we will stay at the same weight. That is simply scientific truth. Eliminating foods or eating them in certain combinations makes no difference to our weight loss.
Enjoy the book. It is a great read but the information is not new. It will not be your last diet. That is, unless you continue to eat low fat, eat less than your body needs and ‘force’ yourself to pick something beside dessert.
