God loves Jogging

I jogged for about three years, a hundred years or so ago!  Once in that three years, I had a runners high. I remember feeling like I could run forever. That’s about once in 1000 days. It wasn’t enough to keep me motivated!

God gives an easier method of jogging.

I will [not merely walk, but] run the way of Your commandments, when You give me a heart that is willing. Psalm 119:32, AMP)

Of course, he has to first give us that willing heart. The Message Bible puts it this way.

I’ll run the course you lay out for me if you’ll just show me how. (Psalm 119:32, MSG)

And all we have to do is ask. Why, we’ll be jogging in no time!

Prayer – Lord, move our feet faster please… Amen

Hanging On

My friend Carol described her situation this way: “We are hanging on by God’s Thread. Is that where you are now? Talk about needing a miracle! But then of course when God is all there is, that in itself is a miracle.”
