Amazing You-Yes YOU!

Did you know that you have two types of bone? One type grows bone and the other stops bone from growing and God keeps them balanced!

Today, your hearts beat 103,389 times, your blood traveled 168 million miles, and you inhaled 23,040 times.

You exhaled 438 cubic feet of air, ate over three pounds of food, and drank at least six cups of liquid. You moved more than eighty muscles; your fingernails, toenails, and hair grew again and you used several million brain cells.

And you say there is no God!! Psalm 139

How Honest Are You?

What do you do when someone else makes a mistake in your favor? Do you blindly accept it or do the right thing and speak up? That’s the choice I had to make when ten (yes; TEN!) food processors arrived at my door.

A clerical error on someone’s part sent me ten food processors instead of the one I had requested. I had no problem sending them back. What boggled my mind was the number of people who told me that they would keep them and sell them for a personal profit.

Yes I sent them back. What would you have done?

Which one are you

One person likes to think that lightning flashes indicate God is taking her picture.

Another believes the noise is only angels bowling. Still another one hides under the bed at a roll of thunder. Which one are you?

The Bible says that is the Lord, thundering from heaven! (Psalm 18:13, NIV)

One person is grateful when a friend brings over a bowl of homemade soup. Another sees an interfering busybody. Which one are you?

The Bible says-Cynics look high and low for wisdom—and never find it; the open-minded find it right on their doorstep! (Proverbs 14:6, MSG)

Some people immediately think that a person who forgets a name must have Alzheimer’s while current studies suggest our brains are just too full and like an overwrought computer, it just takes longer to find stuff in there. (Sarah Knapton, Dr. Michael Ramscar)

God knew that all along.

They will still bear fruit in old age; they will stay fresh and green. (Psalm 92:14, NIV)
